I'm going to go ahead and pre-order this, but I am very annoyed that this is a smaller scale. Why in the hell wouldn't this be 1/12 scale, or just do another revision of the sh figuarts?

agree with you, not being 1/12 its a big turn off. Im not getting it. They are taking some strange decisions when it comes to scaling, they are doing a mecha godzilla with no godzilla to fight... they need someone inside that has some common sense...

Oof I just checked on the details and in fact he's going to be a 4" figure. Odd decision.
This would have been a premium addition to many ppl's collection at 1/12.

Yeah, its on its own smaller scale. I initially had a very hard time to tell the difference between this and the SHF set, thinking it is a re-release of the SHF but now with diecast. They almost look identical (meaning Gavan didn't get sculpt improvements), until I looked at the joints and learn about the size later. I get the idea of reminiscent of the old gokins. Just that this doesn't quite fit many of us that prefer to have a matching collection.
