Very tempting. Color choice is on point and the finish looks amazing.
Also about 1/60th scale. That puts it at the same scale as PG Gundam kits, GX-24 Tetsujin, HMR Dougram, most RD Aura Battlers, plenty of Macross offerings, and the recent Riobot Gurren Lagann, among many others. (A Mazinkaiser at 1/60 would be about 38 cm!)

Looks like the figurines are 2D flat cartoonish cutouts. They're still cool though. Yeah... that's what they are. But maybe it's better that way. I was a bit disappointed by the severe lack of details on the Simon and Kamina micro-figures included with Sentinel's recent combining Gurren Lagann. Boss and the crew don't look larger. Or not much, if they are. I know some modern gashapons have impressively sharp details, but I guess technology isn't there yet to render something as sharp at that size on mass-produced items. Printing can do that, however. So 2D cutouts might be a good alternative to tiny unrecognizable plastic blobs. These cutout could look kinda weird out of the cockpit, but I like that shot with them inside with LED lighting. The figure looks fantastic, overall. But if they're doing Mazinkaiser next, I wish they gave Borot a cloth cloak like in the OVA. It may seem expensive, but their Getter 1 was around US$300 at HLJ. I'm definitely getting this one. |

you are comparing a war ship to Mantis, dont get me wrong i know this is nice and all but the DX is untouchable
now if only they add a Jet Scrander to complete the look
