The way they are doing the lighted crew in the head is rather clever. 2 dimensional animation cutout figures that slot into the head.

Not sure about this Kaiser sculpt. It is quite nice in a lot of ways, but it also look a bit too 'cute'. It does match their Boss very well, but it feels more like a Kaiser in a comedy anime instead of a menacing one we are more used to. The head is quite big for one, with the short torso and stocky legs. The gold circle thing on the chest is also quite huge. I do like the fact that they adapted the head/face likeness of Riobot's (still my favorite head sculpt of all Mazinkaiser figures), and the hip ball joint is concealed better than Riobot's. But I am not sure the overall proportion looks right. A cool looking "Teenage Kaiser"?  From the style it looks like it's based on the Manga version of OVA Kaiser by Naoto Tsushima here's the images for reference the toy is tweak a bit but it's clearly based on the design from the manga.

I like it, I'm getting a very "Chinese" feel especially when it comes to the head design, I get a Chinese God feel for some reason.

i think they took couple of elements from the Sky X Studio Mazinkaiser, limbs wise
for me its a pass, im happy with my Mazinkaiser collection, also after the SOC, it got a bit hard to justify another Mazinkiaser

So that's why it reminds me of the one by Max Factory. the max factory one is 200mm and the bossrobo is 203mm.... So that means the mazinkaiser from the looks should be maybe over 12inches in height? Taller than CCS and sky studio? |
