From the style it looks like it's based on the Manga version of OVA Kaiser by Naoto Tsushima here's the images for reference the toy is tweak a bit but it's clearly based on the design from the manga. So that's why it reminds me of the one by Max Factory. Kinda but not really the Max Factory Kaiser is the Banpresto Mazinkaiser , they basically just took liberties with it probably borrowed a few elements here & there but still mostly Banpresto Kaiser you can tell from it's torso build . If I recall correctly the MF Kaiser had to Fire Blaster chest addons to excuse it's Final Kaiser Blade (the big Sword it pulls from it's Chest) cause Banpresto Kaiser in general never could also the limbs on it to match the Toei color scheme a bit.

Yeah thanks for that. I also found the Picture with the accessories where you can swap the Chest Plate but you you could get the 2 variants.
So far the Carbotix Kaiser looks really neat from the Promo images & the Damaged / Demolished Ankoku daishogun makes it sorta worth owning.

the good memories MF Mazinkaiser was the very first Mazinkaiser i bought, and its the closest one to the SRW version

i think 5pro they did a good job, the figure have nice amount of diecast with ratchets joints (i hope those are metal ratchets), the LEDs are always a nice touch i hope they are easy to install, the paint looks really nice
for me the cons are the proportions it looks more of a power ranger than a super robot, also i wish they added more details to the Dark General
and lastly the price $420, i think its over priced since we got the Sky X version, which is around $290, i think the fair price for this is $350
i would wait for reviews to pick up my mind

Yeah, my initial impression didn't change too much, but I agree with S_Gokin that 5 Pro did a good job on the figure overall. Looks well made, big, heavy, with plenty of ratchets. The proportion really hurts it though, and now knowing this figure is that big, I almost feel like it could use a bit more detail. The head sculpt I really like, with a better face even over my favorite Riobot's head. But the head is really too big, making the overall proportion look off with a small torso and narrow shoulders. Also, as nice as the body sculpt is, it doesn't have the nice details and cool muscular body lines of the Riobot (especially the back torso and the lower legs).
Where it sits is like their Golion, being probably the biggest gokin offering of the figure (not counting any jumbo or statue type) and cater to people that wants the biggest and best there is. But while they succeeded on Golion for the most part, I don't think this Mazinkaiser looks the best with some mixed results. Also, because it is so big and costly, it also narrows down the audience to only diehard Mazinger or Kaiser fans that will buy anything Mazinger, or rich collectors that don't care about price nor scale. I myself find it hard to justify getting it, even though knowing it is quite well made. The look and size just doesn't fit my collection. Potentially being the biggest, heaviest, and most well made Kaiser gokin available yet, but best looking, it is not.

Not sure why people are saying this is overly expensive. Its $319 at BBTS for a 10.5 inch 2lb Kaiser. Seems reasonable to me. Not much more that the GX-75.

for me i have 4 Mazinkiaser's, still not sure if i should jump on both of them or any of them
its just wont fit into my collection, and im kinda sure that Bandai will do a DX version later on i can wait for that i dont want to have any bench warmers

Eh it's just I like buying Dynamic Planning mechs in general (to exact Mazinger & Getter those are just special to me) I do have other mechs like the Chōdenji Brothers , Daimos , Raideen , Brave mechs & machine Robo stuff but in general DP stuff just hits different. It probably is that those where what I use to see the most on VHS Taps back then yeah fun times.
