www.amiami.com/eng/detail?scode=FIGURE-149896&rank=Their Might Gaine is now available and have to say I love how it looks visually. But, never owned anything by these guys. Anyone have feedback? Diecast or all plastic? Opinions would be appreciated. Thanks!

What I understood from some Chinese reviews, Brave series figures in THE GATTAI line does not have diecast. It's unfortunate but it's the only reason I have not ordered any, in hopes someday Bandai will tackle the line, since Exkaiser had been shown. THE GATTAI Dancouga has diecast I think because it is also part of HAGANE WORKS line. That one I did PO.

The Gattai Gurren Lagann set turns out OK, but not great, from review impressions. Engineering is very simple, almost primitive at times. Some of its smaller figures they didn't bother to give it proper articulation (e.g. an elbow or knee that does not bend). All plastic.
Might Gaine might be a bit different due to its theme not an ensemble combiner figure. But I won't expect genius design or engineering, and would tread cautiously or wait for reviews first. Goodsmile hasn't been great on their robot line, and had a couple flops before (one of the Gridman The Gattai set had plenty negative reviews). That's why even though their Dancouga looks good, I am gonna wait and see on that one, and so is Might Gaine for me. I can deal with all plastic, but only if the toy is well made.
