Does anyone here collect any robot anime that are released from Discotek Media? I had purchased several of their super robot anime like Mazinger Z, Great Mazinger, Tetsujin-28 Go, God Mars, Daltanious, Voltes V, Combattler V, Orguss. I'd like to basically collect all robot anime that was released from 1972 to 1988 or so, especially focused on any robots from the Popy era or Bandai Godaikin era. I also recently noticed that they had recently discontinued a group of titles which suddenly made them very hard to find now and quite expensive. - Acro Bunch
- Dancouga: Super Beast Machine God
- Galaxy Cyclone Braiger
- Galactic Gale Baxingar
- Galactic Whirlwind Sasuraiger
- Psycho Armor Govarian
- Space Warrior Baldios
I noticed that their library still does not include titles such as Brave Raideen, Godsigma, Gordian, among others. I'm really looking forward to what future releases they have planned. I am thinking they may not be able to do Albegas since that might be a WEP property if I'm not mistaken.
I purchased Orguss as of recently, and was quite impressed at how well the quality of the film was restored. It looks very clean. I've seen some of the film quality for the J9 series (Braiger, Baxingar etc) and the film quality is still pretty bad. I am sure Discotek tried their best to clean it up as best they could.
For those of you who own a library of robot anime/shows, what titles do you currently own?

I also have several of Discotek releases, and I am also very disappointed that Galaxy Cyclone Brygar / Braiger disappeared from stock so quickly, it's a favorite of our household. I imagine there may be a licensing issue that popped up. For titles so far I've purchased:
- Combattler V
- Getter Robo Armageddon
- Shin Getter Robo vs Neo Getter Robo
- Shin Mazinger Z
- Imagawa's Giant Robo OVA
- The King of Braves: GaoGaiGar
- Captain Harlock: The Arcadia of My Youth
- Samurai Troopers / Ronin Warriors
I had to check a few others on the shelf (Aura Battler Dunbine, Votoms, Venus Wars) but they were released by Sentai.
