A surprise for sure, but not sure a good or bad one. Out of those preliminary designs, Getter 2 is the only one I like. Getter 1 and 3 while not terrible, they feel just another random artist redesign without bringing too much interesting theme to it that is very Getter, just more stuff. And I am not quite seeing them looking good as a live action CG render either. Hope I am wrong about this, but, I don't know...

Yeah it's quite surprising. I love Getter Robo but I have mixed feelings about a live action movie.

One of the Getter Robo mechanical designs this time, Skan is a designer living in Thailand who was in charge of the mechanical design of the Red Baron in Brave Storm.
