Swintronix' super robot music and art

Hello friends,

I make music and art/coloring in my free time, much of which is inspired by vintage super robots and anime.  Super robots have inspired me to draw them, color them, listen to their BGMs, and eventually make beats with the BGMs.

If anyone can relate to what I get up to, I hope it would be this community!

The music is sample-based, using vintage anime BGM/soundtrack music as the source material. 

Animex 01 samples Getter Robo, Great Mazinger, Jeeg, Casshan, and Tetsjin 28 (2004)

Animex 02 samples Ideon, GoShogun, Casshan, and Cutey Honey

(Animex 03 is currently in the works with Captain Harlock and more robots TBD.)

Some of my other, similar music is on the site, like Chronotype, which is the same type of music, but uses 20th century avant-garde records as the source material. Just another interest of mine.

I also make a lot of colorful robot art and post it to DeviantArt. It's mostly super robot themed, with a few vehicles, Gundams, and droids.

I just posted a fresh track that samples the original Mobile Suit Gundam series. I thought I 'd better post it here!

The new song is called "Side Rivals" and samples the BGM "Spy on Enemy Territory".

Hi everyone! I just posted a new chogokin-style song over on my music page. Check it out, and I hope you enjoy.

This latest track samples a BGM vignette from Space Battleship Yamato, called "Warp". I put it to a beat and added a Mellotron to the mix. The resulting composition is sci-fi sea shanty called "Mellowarp".
