So I'm gonna keep this thread as a place for photos from around my place, 'cause I can't even find where half the photos I've put up around this board are. Start off with some recent ones. Finally Sid found some friends who smell as bad as he does. Hostile Takeover Guarding the precious source of cybo-electricity - a secret agent!Unfortunately Cybogs have no sense of smell. That IS Ray Davies from The Kinks, right? (Only kidding.)
Who is the stripey chap with the tribal masks? What a weird figure. I'm reminded of a character in a judge Dredd story, who was, in turn, based on a tribal mask.
Looks like you had to fork out for the hardback Black Hole. Did you never find issue 12? Did you find the ending as inconclusive as I did?

You mean Hiroto Komoto or Asano Tadanobu? Yep, Roy Davies! The zebra suit man is called "Dada" - appropriate! He's actually an ultraman villain, and let me tell you I have zero interest in ultraman, but how cool is this guy? I did get the hardback of Black Hole a while ago, but it doesn't include any of the beautiful coever art, and there's something about the small pages that makes it feel all wrong. I got it for $20 CAD which is really good, but if I find black hole #12 (which seems extinct) I'll sell this one likely. Here, finally a decent picture of this guy. Just getting the hang of the camera controls. Has anyone seen the HBO/BBC tv series Rome?

Dada is lovely – where did you get him? Does he have a face under the masks?
I had a look on the internet for that Black Hole 12 myself and you’re right, it’s hard to find. Hopefully they’ll do a second printing – it’d be better than nothing. I’m pathetic enough to be irked by owning second printings – even when the only difference is a tiny bit of small print.
I saw some of that Rome – perhaps it’s because I’m tired in the evenings but it didn’t hold my attention and was just “on”. I’m a big fan of the old BBC series I, Claudius (features a young Patrick Stewart with hair!) and other Roman dramas don’t come close for me.
When will Cyborg and King Walder borrow the historical costumes and do battle?

I got Dada on Yahoo Japan - under his masks, he reveals - a black space for putting masks! The historical Walder idea is a great one! Probably won't have time just yet, but I will pontificate on it. You should give Rome a chance - I'm not a big fan of most TV, but I really, really enjoyed it, great acting, great visuals, great drama, and surpising historical accuracy (plus embellishments of course). I never got a chance to see I Claudius - haven't been able to download it, so I'll probably be forced to sully myself like a pleb and rent the damned thing. I am a great fan of Cookie Monster's classic "Me, Claudius" Learning to use the 800 iso for nice effect... Norman warrior, as per the Bayeux Tapestry depicting the Battle of Hastings
