So disappointed that it's not the original. Armageddon is still the hot new item which explains the Choice (Even Devolution couldn't dethrone it) so unless they Remake OG Getter in a new Anime like Say Grendizer U , chances are you are stuck with Armageddon for a long & I mean long time. |

Wow this looks really good. Dare I say that this may look better than the Fewture Getter Dragon repaint figure? Is that sacrilegious? Please don’t kick me out if the forums for saying this haha.
It’s a definite buy for me. I hope they release a getter Liger and Poseidon later down the road.

im not sure if they will do the other getters since getter 1 always get the lion share of the sales

I think what he meant is you are stuck with Armageddon 'offerings' and 'releases' for a very long time, even if you don't spend a penny on any of them. |

Could've worded it better but yeah what mpchi said , Armageddon is the main attraction and same applies to the Mazinger (OVA)counter part with Toy makers in that department.
Best hope a company comes & Start Offering Manga Getter (Shin , G , Getter 1 , ETC.....) & Other variants like say New Getter for collectors to entice them with some flavors as well but you'll have to wait & see.
Or you could simply buy Dragon & Repaint it :V .

Hmmm, I don't know. Similar to their Getter 1, there are things I like mix with things I dislike. I think they missed the mark on the head sculpt. It lost the 'good' facial proportion that made Dragon cool, with the eyes sitting way too high and too close here. SOC, Fewture, Riobot all captured that, but not this one. Has the syndrome of their Black Getter with a not very good face.
Not a fan of their knee design in these Getters either, but the rest of the body seems pretty good, but not sure what is going on at the armpit joint. Was that fabric I am seeing at the armpit?

They really, really dropped the ball with that shoulder peg joint. I bet you figures will arrive with pegs snapped from the factory. Not to mention how horrible that gap looks. It’s like the arms are floating next to the body. A real shame for an otherwise beautiful figure. I hope they fix that but it seems they are in the production stage at this point and they are not likely going to redesign at this point. What a shame
