saw it, i think Bandai's mission now is to prove how stupid they are with each release
the regular release have the accurate color white limbs, it looks beautiful but lack in the accessories
the premium version is inspired by the SOC Respect version (not my cup of tea) but it comes with ton of stuff
why they didnt offer the the weapons as an optional set just like they did with Combattler v ?
damn idiots
if they think that i will get both both they are mistaken, in matter of fact i will skip both

SMP [SHOKUGAN MODELING PROJECT] - Does this mean unpainted and/or like those Gundam kits? Or are these like better versions of the gashapons from many years ago?

It’s more like Bandai’s trying to prove how gullible I am because I will definitely buy them both even though I’m fully aware how ridiculous this is and that it’s definitely just a ploy to squeeze more money out of me 🤣

from what i know, the SMP line is a beefed up Super Mini Pla, meaning it doesn't need paint or anything just cut and assumable

to be honest with you i have Combattler v, Voltron and the Tobikage trio from the Super Mini Pla line, Combattler is crazy good and very accurate, paint and proportion wise, Voltron is also good but the Tobikage trio are not so good some how the plastic quality became lower
im not against Voltes V get SMP treatment but im against the idea of keeping the extra weapons set behind a different figure, they could do much better than this
same figure but one is a full pack and the other is a basic release
two different figure, + an add on optional parts set
but no, they are trying to compete for the most stupid company of the year

Price hint from P-Bandai Singapore, roughly US$100... Hehe, almost the same price as GX-31 Voltes V when it first came out... man, I feel old

That's fairly sane pricing considering how much the Super Sentai ones are going for. I wonder if they'll offer some sort of high $$$ Premium Bandai exclusive Camp Big Falcon set once the numbers are in for these and they can see if it will sell?

Well I pre-ordered both sets and it came to about 21.000yen, not too bad yet I'd rather spend that on something like an ES Gokin Voltron or Robo-dou Patlabor. Gonna think about whether I really want these sets, might just sell or trade them off later...

Yes. You'll have to build it yourself.

Yes. You'll have to build it yourself. Ah, feels like the wrong section of the board then.

That's fairly sane pricing considering how much the Super Sentai ones are going for. I guess, through Bandai's point of view, hehe Action Toys sold their Mini Action Voltes V for less than HALF of Bandai's asking price, and it's already pre-built, not a model. Although one can argue that the 1.5 inch height difference and additional accessories justify the price... still depends on one's own perspective This also got me thinking, will it retain a certain value in the second hand market even if it's already built? I often see Mini Action Voltes go for double (sometimes triple) the original price these days. Definitely if it's un-built it might go up in price, but what's the fun in playing with plastic parts on sprues?
