At first, I was not interested in one but at 1.3kg and USD135 (per Blitzway website) - damn!! May have to change my mind. What site has it for USD135? I don't see a link to order one directly Blitzway's site. I was going to pass because of the stubby legs, but I'd consider it for USD135. I think I still like the Sentinel sculpt/proportions best. |

There is a "Order" button on Blitzway's Shin Getter page. You can buy directly from them, that's where I bought the Black Getter. It is indeed US$135, but once you add shipping (to US), it will get bumped up to $226 total. Shipping is expensive, because this thing is very heavy, like 5kg with box and all. But do be careful, as the few times I recently visiting their site to look up Shin Getter from google search leads me to a browser hijacker page (it pretend to ask you to confirm you are not a bot and click confirmation with a robo dog). Do not click it and back out if you see that page. It was not part of the official website function. Tread carefully. The cheapest I find elsewhere so far is ShowZ, at US$215 shipped, but only slightly cheaper. Riobot's Shin Getter 1 is indeed my favorite of them all, still my favorite Shin Getter 1 headsculpt, and very balanced proportion and stylization, without going overboard or has weird proportions. Its articulation is still among the best as well. But I do acknowledge what it cannot provide, which is diecast, size, and ratchets. So I am getting this Blitzway Shin Getter to hang with the big boys (CCS, Fewtures, 5PROs...etc.), while my Riobot goes with the smaller group (Riobots, MBs, SOCs...etc.). |

It used to have a "order" button on the page, and you have to put a deposit to reserve it. That is how I got the $226 total (shipping is $91) when I pretend to check out buying one. I checked a couple weeks ago. |

Plenty of video previews (they are all pre-release samples). Common issues are the wrist LED lock can come off too easy while twisting the hands (Blitzway will address this), and the heads often came with rougher paint job (slightly bumpy texture, when the rest of the body is super smooth and glossy). Joe said it is the brightest Shin Getter (LEDs) he has ever handled. Sounds like a very solid buy, especially after Blitzway addressing these issues.

The only thing I get concerned about is the soft plastic surrounding the energy ball... wonder if 10 years later its as pliable or it just becomes brittle and breaks off...
