Just announce tamashii nation 2023 Voltes V Legacy (live action ver) There will be in SOC line ? This product is a three-dimensional version of "Voltes V" from the live-action drama "VOLTES V LEGACY" broadcast in the Philippines in 2023. Although it looks massive and modern mecha, you can see the shape of the feet and helmets that follow the appearance of "Voltes V" aired in 1977. There seems to be many points to expect, such as whether the chest parts can be removed and the "sky sword" can be developed, or whether the gimmick that opens the abdomen with "super electromagnetic sesame" will be installed. LOL No thanks.
Voltes V Legacy to me is like Michael Bay's Transformers. Just horrible.

They somehow managed to redesign an iconic and distinct looking robot into a totally dull generic one!

As ugly as it looks (from the pics), it will sell (will wait how Bandai for the press release and their pics) Does it combine, etc, etc, the usual questions. I haven't seen much of Voltes V Legacy aside from the trailer and various clips, but it looks like a fair representation of the Voltes V cgi from the show:

The figure itself seems pretty accurate, so nothing to complain to bandai in that deparment. Never had any interest in voltes. never watched the show so I have 0 attachment to it, and was never drawn to it by its design.

I'll probably get it.
Will see if it combines and/or posability (if it isn't a combiner).

A friend who has watched the show, has said that it's full of telenovela crap. Mecha fights take up 2-3 episodes.

Mecha fights take up 2-3 episodes. Im not seen yet the tv show, in youtube there , recap fighting scene with mechanical beast , its look like 80% drama and only 20% fight scene 🤔 Yes, this is all true. The vast majority of it is drama and the scenes with the robot are a small minority % of this show. There are some episodes where there are no robot fight scenes at all. The CG looks good in some scenes, but there are also some scenes where it looks really bad. A lot of the acting is horrible/overacting, and difficult to keep your attention span with. There are some episodes with no robot action at all. The Philipppines have a long way to go in producing quality TV programs and films. They are not even close to what South Korea can produce. There are a lot of Filipinos who have extreme bias for Voltes V Legacy. I have seen some awful behavior on Facebook groups that if you even put a laughing emoji about it or speak ill of Voltes V Legacy on some of the V5 groups, the admin/mods will kick you out and ban you. It's almost cultish behavior. I could not stay engaged with Voltes V Legacy and felt it was just bad. Kudos for effort I guess. But it's still bad. And I say this as a Filipino myself. No cult bias here.

Yeah, watched a couple early episodes, couldn't get pass the overacting to continue to watch more. The CG fights were pretty cool though. To me, it fell into one of those "nice to checkout" series just to see what's up, but not something I can seriously like and continue watching (and I have pretty good tolerance of old school anime shows), regardless a lot of effort being put in. For diehard Voltes V fans only, IMHO.
