My local store is gonna have a sale for it this month, selling for 50% off JP SRP. How is it as a toy? I recall seeing broken hips for GGG on some posts a while back, is that a common problem? Any other WC issues apart from yellowing I should be wary off? Thanks for any replies and advice you guys have give.

POSE+ made the best GGG combiner, but it is stylized, combines slightly different from anime, and expensive. For something that is anime accurate, SOC GGG is still the best there is. While I can't speak for the reissue, the original GX-68 is very good. Really good for the time it came out. As long as you don't put the Goldion Hammer or Star GGG add-ons, GGG alone is pretty solid. Combines well, and stable when displayed. Just that we have been spoiled by really good figures these past few years, the sturdiness and articulation of GX-68 is not quite there to hang with the best anymore. Being 50% Off is a very good buy, as long as it is what you are looking for. But if you want just 1 GGG in your collection and want the best, go for the POSE+. For anime accuracy or just a collector of SOC line, go for it.

The last GGG I had was the SRC, and while I had fun with that, the SOC just definitely looks more impressive for just twice the price. I’ll be happy with just the base GGG. As long as it doesn’t have a tendency to break through play, or just by standing by itself then it’s all god
