This set arrived the other day, and it's pretty nice. I haven't played much with the Repli-GaiGar yet, but the Stealth Gao II is hefty (despite only having a little diecast) and surprisingly big and sturdy when assembled.
What's vaguely annoying is that this set almost, but not quite, ends up overlapping with the original GX-68X set. GX-68X didn't have Repli-GaiGar, of course, but GX-112 seems to have everything from GX-68X except the Gatling Driver weapon. I don't know the anime well enough to know if the Gatling Driver was ever used in the Repli-Star GaoGaiGar configuration, so maybe this is fidelity to the show. Feels more like "Bandai loves you, but Bandai loves your money more."

Feels more like "Bandai loves you, but Bandai loves your money more." Technically in the show this would have been true, Repli-Star GaoGaiGar is basically a clone that was made. The Gatling Driver isn't technically part of GaoGaiGar it's a G-Tool developed by GGG to support GaoGaiGar based on Genesic's Gadget Tools that was in Galeon's black box records. That said, Bandai should have just included it... but I guess they swapped that for the Mamoru effect pieces?
