Is this an exclusive? I only saw it advertised on Luna Park and the gokin.it site said it went up for pre order on Jan. 26 but the usual suspect sellers don't seem to have it.

Did anyone's arrived with their rear upper tail fins broken or on the verge of being broken. Just wanted to share my experience here for folks that are ordering this release to pay attention that hasn't opened it up til later. On this release the tail fins do not fold down like the previous vf-1 releases and mine arrived with my right tail fin completely snapped off and the left one on the verge of breaking off. At first I thought it was suppose to fold in like the previous vf-1 but this is not the case.

Looking on Macrossworld, lots of people have been having that problem. Some have been able to fix them with plastic weld or really thin pins and super glue.
Whether it's from the fins being too vertical when the package gets compressed in transit, or the people packing them weren't aware that they aren't made to fold in all the way, who can say? But it seems to be widespread enough that Bandai will probably do something about it. (Though, given the way the DX is assembled, I'm not sure how they'll handle that.)
I hope you're able to fix it or get a replacement. Good luck.

thanks for responding, i've sorta managed to fix it with super glue and while using the plastic tray to keep it stable in that 65 - 60 degree angle while it cured... kinda worked and now i've left in transformed veritech mode while clamped the back of the plan...
