The Gattai! - Hagane Works Ultimate Dancouga

Looks like we are getting a new version of the Black Wing to make Ultimate Dancouga from SRW 30th for the The Gattai! - Hagane Works Dancouga.

I'll admit I did not see this one coming.

It is very interesting that they have Obari retrofit his design from SRW30 and turn the armor pieces into a robot Dairyuga and a beast mode. By the way it was listed in the video, it looks like people that owns the original Dancouga can just by the Armor as an add-on, while there is a Ultimate Dancouga (Dan + Dairyuga) set for people that want the whole thing. That is going to be very pricey.

Having missed the initial Dancouga, I will absolutely buy the combo upgrade set if they release it as a deluxe package. Looks so awesome! It’s original recipe and Dancouga Nova in one package.

Prototype photos from SmileFest 2024. Glad the colors are darker and sharper than the CG in the video, which looked a bit washed out. Tempted.

You can always just get the Dairyuga/Armor alone to go with your Dancouga. Quite sure they will sell it separately. Goodsmile won't want to piss off all the collectors that bought Dancouga before.

yeah dx set for me since there are so many variants of dancouga out there i was pretty dancougaed out... lol. At least this is going to make it unique...

Well the problem with me is that I already got too many toys and put stuff in whatever space I can find for them. And then after some time I can't remember where certain toys are. So with a DX set at least if I find the box I know everything's in there.

Like right now I know where my Carbotix Voltron Japan Limited Edition is but I can't remember where I put the options set...

I just want the Dairyuga Set since I already have the Dancouga. That big boy takes enough space as is.

I am most surprised we got Masami Obari to skip a Goodsmile Black Wing so he can flex on other toy companies at the moment to give us the first transforming Ultimate Dancouga using the toy as a design document.

They still haven't confirmed how this figure will be released or if they'll offer it and Dancouga in a bundle.
