www.collectiondx.com/news"Site off-line Hey There CollectionDX is done. Increasing server costs mean it is no longer viable to host the website in its current form. I'm archiving all the content so maybe someday it will live in another form. Most of the content lives in the Internet Archive here, so if you are looking for something, start there. Our social media still exists, so you can check in there from time to time. So long, and thanks for all the fish. In the meantime, go check out our Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube Pages. JoshB" Very sad. I had been visiting there often and reading toy reviews since 2013. I will miss it. I'm subscribed to the YouTube channel: www.youtube.com/@collectiondx

Collection DX has been an invaluable resource. Always there when I needed it. I couldn't have broken through the the barriers-to-entry into this hobby without it.

Sad indeed. And google searching older toys will be a lot harder now, as Collection DX is one of the main resource on images and info of vintage stuff, due to their pretty organized review archives. Now all those are gone...

Just wanted say thank you Josh B, collectionDX crew and to all those that helped contributed to the collectionDX site over the years. I have been a fan and returning visitor of the site for over a decade plus and considered it an invaluable archival vault for all things robot toy collecting/chogokin related.

This is really Sad, end of an Era.
I used to read all the reviews as it was the source of toys reviews for the longest time! my relation with collection DX goes back to 2004 !
Josh B is a great guy and everyone who worked on that encyclopedia of a website. I wish there was something to do ro support it.
Thank you Collectiondx

It is really sad. I make CollectionDx as a part of my daily toys news routine. It is really incredible for Josh to put so much time and finance behind the site. I bought one of their t-shirt when they were looking for support way back when. The site was great as it has a lot of great background information about company, the toys and most importantly how to spell a character in both English and Japanese Katakana. This helped me to go on Yahoo Japan to search for deals. (Thanks Josh for all that you do. I hope you stay active in other toy communities, forums, podcasts, etc.)
