HORROR STORY-CCS Gurren Lagann lost in mail - NO REFUND

So I bought the CCS Gurren Lagann from Ebay, which I really REALLY wanted. I am living in Europe and customs is awful, so I had it shipped to my parents in the US with plans to pick it up when I visited them in 6 months. I was VERY careful to check tracking and pretty sure I even called my family to make sure it was in their hands, so I assumed all was fine....
This was in February 2024 that I bought it, and I arrived to the US in August. BUT My family said they never got the package and that I never confirmed with them by phone (which was possible I guess, I switched phone carriers and many texts/calls were dropped)!!
So long story short, because this was over 180 days after the purchase date no one (ebay, my credit card, pay pal) will help me. So no robot, and Im out $500.
I am always very careful about confirming an item is received, but in this rare circumstance where I moved to another country, my phone carrier changed, etc etc I ended up losing it all.
Valuable lesson learned...ugh
Does anyone know if they will be reissuing this anytime soon?
