Starscream Crown needed

Okay, I am way outta my element here, but my buddy asked for help on this one.

This is a new version of Starscream currently in the toy shops.



Apparently this new release of starscrean comes with a special crown that resembles the crown the G1 Starscream wore after the battle with Megatron in Transformers the movie (after Glavatron killed him).



My buddy just wants THE CROWN to go with his Optimus Prime.
Can anybody help me on this one. Can anyone spare the loose crown for $$$

I know Borgs man. No clue on finding loose parts to 2006 toys.

there were 2 versions of this toy. One sold for approx. $50, is pretty big (10-12+ inches tall) and has the crown. It looks like it MIGHT fix OP masterpiece ed., but could be too big.

the OTHER version is more reasonably sized (6-8" tops) and came in a TRU exclusive 2-pack. it DID NOT come with a crown.

Guy, i can keep an eye out for one, people sell my work new & g1 TF all the time. but... the best bet for him is to buy one, take the crown out, and sell the big guy on eBay. A lot of work, but i've only seen the crown for sale by itself once last summer when it came out, and if i remember right, it went for about $20. Now these things are ALMOST into discount land for most stores, and i see a bunch of $30 range BIN on the bay.

I would offer to buy one and then sell you the crown out of the box, (as i usually go for the jumbo TFs) but this guy's kinda ugly.
