I finally took Guy's advice and set up a new image host. I took a few toy pics of old and new stuff, no particular structure here, just funning around. Johnny may recognise the Charles Burns figure. These are the tiny vinyl M10X from the SF Act 1 set, Garvy. they are nicer than the Cyborgs, whose heads I used for the story. To get an idea of scale, those are normal size drawing pins. Their shoulders swivel and the chest pieces detach. The freshly reorganised Cybo-shelf. A couple of my models. M11X Prototype Head. I was going to try one of Johnny's lookalike things and compare him to Charles Hawtrey. But he doesn't actually look like him except in my fried imagination.

Wow, Great Pix! I really dig the purple guy with the red eye. Who is that?
And what is the story behind the M11x Prototype head? I am really interested!

I think the purple guy with the eye is called Jamanga from Ryukendo which is possibly a TV series. I just like his design and had to get one.
The M11X and M12X series Micromen back in the 70s were originally going to have more robotic heads and were depicted thus in an early catalogue, but when they came out, they had the human heads and dodgy haircuts we all know and love. Takara originally allowed some smaller company to do the prototype heads a few years back as an ultra limited Wonder Festival exclusive, and I drooled over pictures. Then Takara did the heads complete with bodies and I preordered them from M-World. I'm glad I did because they have turned into one of the harder to find, expensive sets.

Wow - looks like GUy's got you into collecting vintage costumes! Weird Amphibious Guy Man! Nice!
You completely scored on those prototype heads - even in Japan, they sell for at least $150. I think there's a set for auction right now.
DOn't recognize the burns character - you mean the guy with one eye and a chunk of his head missing? I like that guy - who is he?
ANd those models, what are they? Did you paint them?
Where's sleath NHC's human membrane head?

The Charles Burns figure is not the one you think, Johnny. It's the one in the first photo with the anarchy tee shirt and the lobster claw hands. There were six of these little figures but I only have three.
The guy with the chunk out of his forehead and one pupil is Doctor Deadly from Aurora's notorious Monster Scenes series. The actual kits from this series and were beyond my finances at the time, so he is a recast. The photo is much larger than life and you can see all the little bubble holes I missed with the putty. Both he and the Horizon Moleman in the next picture are model kits that I built and painted.
Stealth NHC is holding his outer head in his hand. I like the clear inner head with the green eyes so I decided I'd display just one NHC in "brain" mode.

Hey, how'd you get ryukendo already? I didn't realize it was released yet. They sell it on ebay?

They are plentiful on Ebay, in fact if I had waited, I could have paid less. Microforever has a review now and this character is actually called Tsukaima and the good guy and the name of the show is Ryukendo (but he's a boring figure). www.microforever.com/Ryukendo.htm
