hello all long time!! well I got the bug again and decited to merge a micro and zoid together once more these are my in prog pics, as I have to paint and modify more parts but this is the start it's a micro Scol acroyear and a Hel Digunner zoid(Iguana Type) I started by sawing off the legs and hip joints for Scol then cut away the connect point for the multi-gun on the HD's back the bits are two suspension struts from a sherman tank kit and some parts cut off from warhammer 40K guns, cut to fit and glued to some plasic stock then to eachother to form a brace for the hips and lower groin area to rest in here's a view of the struts the rest of the pics are just porgress pics as I slowly build it up. I will be adding more stuf and repainting the whole thing with weathering hope you enjoyed clifton

Hey all Update!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have figured that I will have to repaint the whole feaking zoid but I had to start with the micro.I dechromed the head and armor to make way for a custom paint job! I used Liquid Drano and a small container and left the part in overnight. Aside from the stink and hazard of messing with an organic dissolver this stuff will eat chrome off with a quickness!!!! (oh and not hurt the plastic) here's some more pics of the micro dechromed and some of the head and how cool it looks without all the chromeness

yet another update this is pretty much what the head is going to look like I just need to add a little more dry brushing to the back and top of the helmet as well as lighten up the bone color in the face. I have to add clear red to eyes as the specs i put in look like hell but the whole armor and claws will have the same type of coloring as well as the zoid body enjoy

Yo, THAT is FIERCE!!! I like that concept and look!
That's the fun thing about Micromen stuff, they combine with Anything you make them to.
I'd like to try that with Bionicle parts and figures!
