Hi
I know the vintage grey karza with red highlights came with red missiles, does anyone know if the grey karza with blue highlights came with blue chest missiles? The red missiles look out of place sitting in the blue chest housing. Also does anyone know if the grey karza with blue highlights was ever pictured on a box? I got mine in a bigger box than the usual magnos but the front and back of the box show pictures of grey karza with red highlights. Maybe mine's not in the original box? And is it just me or is the grey/blue karza the nicest/meanest looking karza?
Cheers Steve

I'm no expert on this so someone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.
The grey with red highlights version was released as part of the Interchangables line as Count Magnemo or something. The chest missile was grey plastic with a large red rubber tip. Andromeda was also released in this line in grey and red.
The grey with blue highlights version was released as part of the New Micronauts (Nuovi Micronauti?) line by GIG, an Italian company. I've only seen this with the red tipped chest missile. The Andromeda for this line was still grey and red.

Actually, I have that same figure (his real name is Count Magno) and it's in an Interchangeables box, so there were 2 versions released. The one in the Nuovi Micronauti box (the Italian one) does indeed picture the red highlights version on the box. The box I have however shows a completely different figure. It's still the grey Count Magno, but his grey looks different and he has SILVER highlights. The figure on the box is just a prototype though - it was never produced that way. This box has dual language (English & French) and was sold in Canada, it seems. I don't have it in front of me, but I think the missiles have black stems with the familiar red/orange rubber tips. None of the versions of Count Magno ever came with sharp plastic belly missiles, unfortunately.
There is a horse that goes with this figure, but it doesn't have blue highlights (damn!). Instead, the highlights are made of a silverish plastic, but not as shiny as the silver paint used on the prototype shown on the box. It's a shame the two toys don't match up better.
Hope this helps shed some light on the discussion. I don't have any pictures handy, but I can try to take some when I get some time.
