I don't know if any of you have noticed this, but after twenty years or so, I'm noticing many of my Diaclone tire treads (for Cosmo Roller and Great Robot Base) beginning to crack quite badly. I've removed all the treads from these toys in order to prevent further stretching/cracking, but several of these are completely shot now. Is there any way to replace or restore them?

Many of the old car parts act the same way.....I hear it called dry rot. So....I can only hope there will be a repro. I believe someone in PI was repro'ing Voltes treads. Maybe someone knows this guy and he can work out Great Robo Base treads.

I can't imagine these would be hard to make. Just take an already split tread and produce a mould from it. No idea how easy/hard it is to reproduce the material, though.
