nobody mentioned this so i figured i'd post for those who don't read microforever.com quoted from www.microforever.com/preview2000.htm "... Not a really exciting news but at least Takara-Tomy is determine to keep Microman line going for at least until the end of this year. I am not sure I am entirely please with the direction that Tomy is taking Microman line. Yukiko told me that there were several rumors about the tension between the two toy designing cultures (Tomy and Takara) and that lead to many of the problem with the projects. Tomy was hoping Takara would open up Transformers brand to Tomy division and Takara was hoping for Star Wars licensed so they can do Microman Version of Star Wars characters but they were un-able to resolve the turf wars and the end result is pretty much a very boring year for Microman line.
There is really not much news about any other Microman projects aside from these four lines probably until Takara-Tomy resolve their internal tension the property is pretty much in a limbo state."
------------ Tomy Transformers? cool. Star Wars Microman? EVEN BETTER. The only thing that benefits from the "limbo state" is my wallet.

The top almost looks like a redeco of Biomachine...but it's been so long since I saw mine in anything other than combined mode that I'm not sure...

The Wecker Signa TV series is being made with designs inspired by Microman figures. Sort of the opposite of the MicroAction line. So mostly redeco's for all the figures, but at least they have original head sculpts; really nice ones, I think, with the removeable masks.
The quality on the US release of the Biomachine figures was terrible for some reason. Almost 100% bad ankles on the figures. But the original run in Japan had no such problems. So if you picked them up from someplace like smalljoes, which only sold the Japanese released figures, you should be okay.
Getting all four Bomachines redone seems unlikely, I think. I don't think that the show has enough male characters to make figures of. But a complete Biosuit in new colors would be cool...

oh you're right.. I wonder why the redeco??? I always wanted those but I herd some of the quality that year for microman was iffy.. so I skipped. the vehicle quality was good- but the vac metal pieces on the figures themselves was what broke. i've had three sets so far- 2 us and 1 japanese- and the feet on the Arabic-looking figure broke on all three, even the japanese one- i frankenstein-ed one together out of the parts and sold the rest- still have a US MIP of that figure too just in case. Biomachine is still currently available here in the US, at a chain of dollar discount stores here in the US for $3-5 a piece, or at Kay-Bee Outlet stores for $4.99 each - you just have to shop around. even less sometimes from ebay. for those prices i'd get two sets in case one broke.
