Is Dia train , Dia Battle and Powered Convoy DX contain a lot of die cast? Are they great vintage toys? Rarity? Height?

Dai Battles is reasonably well diecast - he's a little cheap looking, but a nice figure regardless. I'd say he's worth a place in your collection. Diatrain has no diecast (unless you count the springs in his mechanism and the thin metal floor plates), and is of course, not a robot as such. However, he does have a very pleasing spring-loaded transformation action, and for that alone is maybe worth getting.
Powered Convoy is a pretty heavy robot - and of course has the same diecast content as Ultra Magnus - Pretty much all in the cab. If you're talking about the DX with the cars included, then of course, each of those cars is the same as all the dialone car robots - very high diecast content. There's also the exclusive black Sideswipe and Red Mirage variant included in that set, so it's a very worthy addition!

Sorry - just saw the questions on rarity and height... DiaBattles - about 5 or 6 inches. On a 1 - 10 rarity scale with 1 being SOC-commmon and 10 being Mekander DX-rare , he's about a 5 in a box.
Diatrain - Not a vertical robot, so his 'height' is only about 2 inches, while his length is around 6 or 7 inches. Rarity-wise, if boxed, I'd say around 6.
Powered Convoy DX...In robot mode he's like Magnus - about 10 inches. Each car is then about 4 inches tall. Rarity for this set is right up there - I'd say around a 9 for the DX set, and about 7.5 for a non-DX boxed version.

My mistake... ;D ;D ;D, it's not Dia Train but Diaclone Train Robo. Does this toy contain any die cast? Rarity? Playability?

Aaaahhhh....Train Robo.... Very very little diecast, but the wheels are those cool diecast ones like the old VF Macross airplanes had.
If you're going for the giftset, make sure it has all the bits - playmat, tracks, connectors, etc - it's a fragile robot when combined, and a tricky one to combine at that, but it's most definitely worth adding to your collection. The individual robots are OK, the individual trains are very good, and when combined, he's a pretty good looking super-robot.
As for size, he's about 9 or 10 inches tall, and for rarity - using my scale above, I'd say about an 8, maybe 8.5 with every accessory.

Thanks for the info, Cybermuton . One more question, is the diaclone train robo is as fragile as diaclone construction? I have that one in Complete and NMIB condition but I can't say I like it. Definitely not my favorite because it is so fragile and... patchy. Not very playable too.

In many ways Train Robo is actually more fragile than the Contruction set - it's just friction that holds him together really.
However, he does look a lot better than the other combiners, and there are less bits to fall off him - but do be prepared for him to fall apart if he's handled!
I'd still say he's worth having, but don't expect him to be as sturdy as a Daibaron!

Just recently I managed to get my hands on two Dia Battles in box. At first, I was a little surprised (though not disappointed) with the size of the combine bot. It's very small and delicate. Within five minutes though, I came to appreciate its color and charmingly old school appearance. I also like the separate individual vehicles. They are unique and funky, and when place together next to the combine robot, they look complimentary and does not hurt the eyes. Maybe because their small size.
Anyway, I love them and put Dia Battles on my top 50 robots list

Congrats. I love this toy. This is what first got me into Diaclone stuff. As you said, the vehicle modes are really nice. My only complaint is that in the combined form, the arms seem disproportionately long. But I can deal with that for such a great toy.
