What's the GX-01 Iron Castle version, I've never heard of that one.

Look at the index, the second one, that is the iron castle version of GX-01.The main differences of it with regular GX-01 is unknown, since i have never seem one on Ebay,amazon,half,yahoo japan and even ebay Japan!! I guess there're less than few hundred pieces of this version are ever produced in the world and most of them are in the hands of true japanese toy collectors now ... ...

By the way chen(or any one else),who saw GX-01RB before? any pictures?

I think the GX-01RB is the exclusive black Mazinga that is included with the limited Mazinga GX-01R as an exclusive figure. Note there is no price tag in your photo list. I could be wrong though...

The GX-01RB is a black recolor of the GX-01R. It was released via lottery to people that bought the Maz Z DVD boxed set (I believe). It's super limited, and frequently goes for $500 plus on YJ. I've never actually seen it outside the box, so I really couldn't tell you what it looks like.

There was a SRiA of a black Maz Z that accompanied the HK release of the GX-01R, which is what you might be thinking of. Kinda like what they just did with the HK release of the GX-05R and the black Gaiking SRiA.

I believe there was also a 1999 HK exclusive GX-03 Combattler V that included diecast twin lancers (swords). They pop up on eBay once in a while like this one: cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=4694&item=3191424337&rd=1

As a sellingpoint on eBay, some Evas also carried the "HK exclusive" title but I wonder about their real exclusivity because I'm not sure if the notorious "crystal" bases were actually included in the box or just an add-on (maybe on the seller's part), since individual 'glass' bases can still be bought at some online stores.

the glass bases were supposed to be sold together with the Evas.. but shops has a tendency to sell them seperately since not everyone wants the bases. The bases does add like $4-$8 extra to the price tag

The iron Castle version Mazinga Z is GLOSS black instead of FLAT black. The chest fins are shiny chrome. It looks fantastic!

I just saw a version of the super rare GX-01RB Mazinger. It looks cool with gloss black and chrome upper arms, thighs, and stomach. If only I could get one , but I could only guess at what the price would be

one more thing to mention, the Mazinger figure itself of GX-01RB is TOTALLY IDENTICAL with GX-01R, the only different part is the accessories, which are all black painted.

If you are big SOC fans, grab a GX-13R while you can. Later on the price will be over 1000 for sure if bandai dont reproduce it.
