Well, I hope there WILL be re-releases, because I missed ALL of them.  Including the EVAs. There are no pics yet but, it looks like something is being released. The HLJ link calls this an "Angel" and the "Early Bird" price is $34.00. www.hlj.com/scripts/hljpage.cgi?BAN925449If this IS the "Angels", does anyone think they will have the same accessories as the others? I'm not real familiar with the Mazinger series. Did Minerva X not become an Angel? Thanks, Michael |

These new figs were supposedly based on a recent TV series or special featuring the Mazinger girls. ANd Minerva X is an Artificial Intelligence that was destroyed and was not piloted so she doesn't qualify. As far as accessories, they will come with different ones...there's another thread related to this...search for GX-08A, that is the correct model for these "Angels". Hope that helps!  Carlo |

Thanks, Michael Minerva X was designed by Doctor Kabuto(Koji's Grandpa) at the same time as Mazinger was being drawn up but the Minerva plans were stolen by Doctor Hell. He later made Minerva with an artificial intelligence installed to attack Mazinger, unfortunately the plan backfired when Minerva "fell in love" with Maz, she later sacrificed herself to save Mazinger by taking a bullet(or was it an arrow?) for Maz fired by a sniper Kikaiju. It all happened in one episode(Just like Getter Q/Queen's story, Enemy bot, but this time piloted by the Emperor Gohl's Daughter, turned good and self-sacrificed to save our heroes, all happening in also just one ep. ;D) I'm still curious as to what the Mazinger Angels will be about. An OVA? A one shot special? A TV series? Gotta admit Bandai sure knows how to keep the market going, one way or another. Gold |

I mean, we're looking at a new OAV for Shin Getter (Shin Getter 2004), so another OAV for Mazinger Z or Mazinkaiser, with the Hell's Angels in the plot, isn't too far fetched. ;D |

I only need a GX-01R, a GX-02R to complete my Go Nagai SOC's. I already have a GX-06M reserved, getting 2 GX-08A's, and planning to reserve a Miracle House Neo Getter Trainer. ;D |

Before theres anymore Maz OAV's there better be a Grendizer one. It seems like Grendizer gets no respect, hell the new Gaiking OAV will come out before Grendizer's will.

I think it is hard to make a new grendizer chen!! ... because of the rights!! and some story line issues!! ... I think the copy rights for grendizer are not compleatly belongs to go nagai!! and how is koji going to fit in the story line after piloting mazinkaiser?? go nagai is traying to give all the strength to mazinkaiser to make him look like the all mighty!! when the truth is grendizer is the stronget robot  logicly ..!! any way .... lets see how things go! |

Ok Folks.. Lets Talk Price Points..
What are your thoughts on the potential pricing on these girls.. Bandai has allready tested selling an EVA for more by making it shiny.. Will the Girls also be pricer due to the new finish.. or will they assume that many people have these.. and if they cost too much they wont get the maximum extra cash for the same die mold?
What price would make you say "no thanks, nice try Bandai"
