Hi guys, I did manage to order the GX-08R Mazinger Angel Aphrodite A from www.hlj.com for US $ 34.20 with the 5% early bird discount (before 5/26/2004) and now the pre-oreder price is US $ 36.02. So should be below US $ 50 before S & H. |

I pre-ordered there (HLJ) as well.
I expect all of the ladies to sell at around this price point.
The main problem I find with the EVAs is the following:
I find it hard to justify buying two EVAs 00 or GX-21 and GX-22.
But I also want to be a SOC completist!
The good thing about the ladies is that the still have the same number, which leaves up to us whether to buy one or not, ands not FORCE completists to buy them again because they have different numbers.

I think it is hard to make a new grendizer chen!! ... because of the rights!! and some story line issues!! ... I think the copy rights for grendizer are not compleatly belongs to go nagai!! and how is koji going to fit in the story line after piloting mazinkaiser?? go nagai is traying to give all the strength to mazinkaiser to make him look like the all mighty!! when the truth is grendizer is the stronget robot  logicly ..!! any way .... lets see how things go! I can think of a perfect story for Grendizer and Mazinkaiser. Have the Vegans who are still trying to defeat Duke Fleed, attack Earth instead to draw Fleed out. But the Vegans have to deal with Mazinkaiser so they team up with Dr. Hell and have Mazinkaiser on the ropes. But in the knick of time Duke Fleed and Grendizer shows up and together Grendizer and Mazinkaiser defeat the Vegans and Dr. Hell ;D There you go, now somone tell Go Nagai to get it done no matter what |

Nice points, but they [writers] can easily throw Koji out of the picture with some lame @$$ excuse like "he's off piloting Mazinkai to some mission against Dr. Hell" and we can have the vagans bang up Grendy badly that he'll need an upgrade. Enter Grenkaiser (or something..sorry, not too good with names ;D ), then an all out butt-whuping of the Vagans. Throw in Chen's story, and we're all set! ;D .  no baby .... there is only one grendizer .... and it is good enough to beat up all the enemies all the time!!!.. no mazinkaiser is needed!! the three spazers (double spazer,marine &drill) can be up graded but grendizer is there!! .... and he is awsome!! :)actually I thought of a really good story and a reasnoble upgrade with out ruining the designe of grendizer and I came out with something really works!! I am studeying charecter animation for that purpese but I need to get to go nagai!!  .... if some one can help me getting to him I promiss giving you guys an awsome OAV of an all mighty new well balanced grendizer ;D

Sorry to dig out this thread but the Dianan is up on "early bird" at HLJ. Her "early bird" price is even higher than Aflodai's regular price... Seems that HLJ caught on to the fanboys definitely lusting for this blue beauty.
And yeah, I gave in and preordered both and I will also go after Venus too.... I like her the best actually. I guess I just can't resist all them yellow chrome nipples!
