Im thinking of getting the four ships from Ashoma, also the saint seiya figures, any suggestions?
Any other toylines deserving the same treatment as SOCs?

Takara Binaltech to me identifies the "Soul" of Transformers.

Takara Binaltech to me identifies the "Soul" of Transformers. Agreed. Binaltech Transformers are INSANELY nice IMHO. Especially when it is considered a "mass-produced" item. There is no question in my mind that these are definite future-classics. Great design, great quality, great history. Bill

Aside from the Binaltechs and Masterpiece Prime, not a whole lot comes to mind that can favorably compete with even the lower-tier SOCs. Sure, there are a few that hold their own in comparison: chogokin Gundam, Max GaoGaiGar, and a lot of sweet Getters, but the majority of what's out there can't hold a candle to the mighty SOCs! I'm with you on the Ashoma ships; they are sweet, indeed. The Seiya figures, however, I don't like in the slightest. Mediocre designs, IMO.
