Just got my soc gx-18, 19 & 20 today from animeking in ebay. These things are great! I haven't really looked at all 3 completely but at first glance I'd say I'm pleased. What are your opinions on these 3?
Thanks.

they are the best of the best, especially getter dragon, tall, detailed, high diecast contain, and fair price.

The Getter Robo G team is about third on my list of best SOC's. Bang for the buck they have the most diecast and with their interchangeable arms and legs their alot of fun too. When you have a chance, you should put Liger's legs on Poseiden, it's the funniest thing, reminds me of the guys at the gym who only work on their uppper bodies and have chicken legs.

It was teh Getter Treo that seriously hooked me into this hobby.
the paint is amazing. the heft is Impressive. the level of detail and care for a toy from an animation where many liberties were taken for transformations between modes. this set is a gem!

I really like these guys alot! I remeber one of my first memories of super robots was seeing a jumbo of Getter Dragon my friend had gotten.I have loved this stuff ever since! ;D At the cost of my poor savings account .

My GX _18 is coming from Japan right now.
I have the other models. Iprioritized them because I thought they were more creative and unconventional.
Thn I realized my need for a Dragon to complete the set.
Thankfully he is still easy to find.

I finally put together my gx-18 and I have to say I am impressed! This thing has A LOT of diecast. I'm opening Liger next and I tell you I can't wait til I get to Poseidon coz by the weight of his box it is heeeeavy! I'm opening them slowly one by one so my wife doesn't catch me that I bought 3 at once (hehehe). I'm slowly integrating them into my display cabinet (putting them in the back behind dancougar, unicron and my yamato valkyries so she doesn't notice) so it's not noticeable at first. I also just bought 3 too mazinger ladies (also behind the big guys so they're not noticeable) so I'm gonna have a lot of explaining to do. ;D So better to do it in a nice and subtle manner. I know I sound pathetic doing this but she has been noticing last month that my collection display went from 15 to 23 pieces. I hope I'm not the only one in here that goes through this.

You're not alone, ronin777. See Page 9 under General Toy Discussion Board. Subject: Hiding from the spouse.

its a hard thing to justify to those that dont get it... I just dont need the "look". so Its easier (and a little fun) to just be sneaky about it. " Hi, baby. I just bought 1200.00 in toys in 2 months! Aint that cool!?" not a lot of ladies would think thats so cool. But I do! I'm pretty lucky actually.. i mainly get this look-->

I wish my wife was that cool with it. I guess bribery would work too but that also can get expensive. LOL.
