It's official, I am now owned by Bandai. After the last few purchases I now own all SoCs. Who knows how many zillions of dollars it cost me...I guess it doesn't matter. Bandai owns my soul.  I have mixed feeling about owning them all now. I feel somewhat guilty for spending the cash, but they are soooooo coool. ;D Anyway, enough of my meaningless rantings... Bill |

ALL of them? As in, all of them, including repaints (black, chrome, gold, etc.)? Man, that's a serious load of cash you've invested! Well, congratulations, then. That means you're caught up and should have less trouble keeping up to date as new ones come out. With so much more to get, I wish I could say the same.  |

Nope I do NOT have all repaints. I have a few of the Blacks and the Silver Getter Team. I hate the Gold editions myself, I think they are ugly as hell. I just have all the regular versions... I guess I would need: GX-01 GX-02 GX-01B GX-01RB GX-02B GX-01X GX-01RG GX-03B GX-05B GX-10B GX-13R Good lord, don't tempt me......that looks like another $2,000.....  Personally I think I need help for blowing all the cash on them...my best friend is talking about an robo-intervension. I guess Robots are like my crack. Bill |

Yep, these things are just about as addictive as crack! I agree with you, the gold ones aren't my bag either. Personally, all I want are the original paint schemes of each character. I don't even care to get GX-07. Since I really want GX-01R because of the metal thigh parts, all I need is one Mazinger Z. I haven't decided if I want the EVAs or not yet. The black SOCs are pretty cool, but I'd rather put my $$$$$ towards a new character like Zambot or T-28 before getting any of those. So far I have: GX-03 GX-08 (just received it today) GX-11 & 12 are on their way GX-13 Geez, I've got such a looooong way to go... |

Congratulations, Bill!!!  Considering that SOC prices there are much higher at your side of the world. That is no mean feat. Question: Would your collection happen to include SOPs? NOW that would truly prove that Bandai owns your soul!!! ;D ;D ;D Bandai truly is evil! ;D I started out thinking, "I think I will only get the Go Nagai Robots?" Just when you think you're done with SOC, Bandai releases a new one and pulls you back in. ;D Congratulations again! |

How long did it take you to amass them all?
I don't plan to get all of them (just plain impossible for me, too much moolah and I like variety) but will continue picking up my faves and looking for deals.
I guess the bigger question should be, what are you going to buy NOW?

Yup, we basicly have the same collection minus one or two here and there. I never bothered with Crystal bases though.

Ya I got sucked into the crystal base with my first Eva (I love Evangelion), and snowballed from there. Once ya get a crystal base, you gotta get all of them. ;D
