It's official, I am now owned by Bandai. After the last few purchases I now own all SoCs. Who knows how many zillions of dollars it cost me...I guess it doesn't matter. Bandai owns my soul.  I have mixed feeling about owning them all now. I feel somewhat guilty for spending the cash, but they are soooooo coool. ;D Anyway, enough of my meaningless rantings... Bill Congrats man. But what you wanna know what the funny thing is? It's only the BEGINNING! MWA HA HA HA HA HA ;D |

Yes it is only the begining of this SOC madness!But there is worst things to spend a fortune on!So the children we eventually have will have to go to community college.I ain't never gone for know fancy learnin and i turned out alright! ;D Just kidding about the community college its a great way to get an education at an affordable price.

Is the Crystal base for Zambot meant for the figure or his Ion cannon? Its got to be for the ion cannon. The base is about 2"Wx2"Lx1"H. It is pretty cool. The center of the base has the Zambot kanji with the moon crest on his head. It looks like it was laser etched into the middle. One would need two bases for Zmbot to stand on  I don't even think it is for the cannon in as much as it exists just for the cool factor. Lots of form not much function. ;D |

Congrats Bill, How long did it take you to amass them all? I don't plan to get all of them (just plain impossible for me, too much moolah and I like variety) but will continue picking up my faves and looking for deals. I guess the bigger question should be, what are you going to buy NOW? I've been collecting SoCs about a year now. Not sure what is next. My last big spending was getting a complete set of 1/48 Valkyries. I'll probably just save money for a while, or get hookers.  Well I'm off to bed now. Too tired after Ozzfest today, Judas Priest ruled! ;D Bill |

Yeah, I haven't seen it...got a pic? I have the ability to take pics, but I don't have a host for them. I can say that the Zambot crystal is the coolest one I've seen yet! |

Ya it's tiny, but way cool the way that the kanji are 3D and the zambot moon crest is 3D.

I'm just getting started and I've got a long ways to go. I started back in December of last year. Here's mine so far: GX-06, GX-07, GX-18, GX-19, and I have GX-23 coming.
Anyone know any online stores that has GX-20 Liger available and at a decent price so that I can finally complete my Getter Gs?

Here's some Zambot crystal base pix    i'm with you guys... Bandai also owns my soul... so far, i only lack GX-01RB - no plans of getting it since it's too expensive for a black version of the 01R... and it has no extra freebies GX-05R - just a repaint of the 1st on... with tighter joints GX-05B - might get in the future GX-10B - black version that has no extra freebies. might consider if the price is right ;D GX-13R - just an expensive repaint with a new box. |

IMHO, I probably would have pursued the crystal stands if they had made them for all SOCs.
What turned me off with the Getter G stands was Liger was called Getter Lager.

Like beer! ;D I have all the crystal bases that have come out so far, and yes the Getter Liger is 'LAGER'. I was upset at first, but I figure there was something lost in translation or if they come out with a base that says 'liger' I will have a collectable. My fav bases are the evas. |

You might have a hard time finding the red and purple(gx-14, gx-15) crystal bases, as they are getting rare. They are not so much useful as they are cool. Zambot has the coolest crystal yet, but I still like my eva crystals. ;D |

no prob. The only issure with the crystal bases is that once you get on, you will want them all. I do wish they had come out for the older socs, but I believe that the first crystal base was for EVA gx-14 (purple eva).
