Kinda a repost, but I thought I might get more responses here... Is there a new GX-06? I see one on www.toyworkz.com.sg/ that looks white/blue or silver/blue... I must have fallen asleep if there is a new GX-06 and I didn't know about it... So, what's the scoop? Bill

yo bill,
there is no new version of the gx-06, i think what you saw is just an effect on the box by the camera flash when the picture was taken. if there as a new version i'm pretty sure it would be all over the forum. hope this helps.

Bandai did a recolor of the 1st Getter team. It's the GX-06M, for metallic. They're pretty neat looking, though you can get them for a hell of a lot cheaper than toyworkz is charging for them.

I think that online retailer just posted a prototype pic for the 06M. The blue trim just looks different but in the right lighting I guess the black tinted chrome can seem white.

I am looking at my GX-06m right now, and it does NOT look like the one in the picture at all. The is NO WAY it is just a photo error or due to the flash. The GX-06m is all silver (chrome or Matte finish) with no blue or black trim on the main bodies. So I remain very confused as to what is in those pictures. The pictures clearly show a dark (black or blue) trim on the main bodies. So either what is picture is a prototype of GX-06m, a bootleg, or a new product. Please look at the picture on their website and then compare it to a GX-06m. They are CLEARLY not the same (crappy camera, flash, or whatever). Sorry if I seem a tad animated, but those responding don't seem to have looked at the picture very closely, or you guys don't know diddly about your GX-06m. And I know you guys are all Chogokin freaks like me, so I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. ;D Bill

It looks like a prototype for the GX-06M where they used the white and blue colours like in the Anime. This must have been before they decided on the chrome and dark grey/black they ended up with. If these were produced it would have been in the SOC book, which it isn't.
P.S did you see the price of GX-02R with shipping, wow, they must ship it too you by B-2 Bomber.

Yeah, shipping is super high, but also it reads "Out of Stock" in the description.
I think the Getter Robos shown there are prototypes. They must be some sort of 3.1 prototype. I noticed the head of the Getter 1 is a bit yellow, like some prototype plastic. If this was a real product, I think the head would be similar shade of colour.

I received my GX-06M from Toy-Wave today (at a nice price, bullet-proof packing, and shipped fast, if anyone is considering ordering from them; Ken's got himself a new regular customer! ) and I must say this set is gorgeous! An amazing value for the cost, considering it includes three interchangable figures and four ships. Can't stop looking at it. One of these days, I'll pick up the standard version, as well. Although the possibility of tarnish does worry me a bit...

I've had my GX-06m on display for over a year now, and it still looks GREAT! I still prefer this over the regular GX-06.

I sold my GX-06M about a year ago, and replaced it with a colored version.
Now I have another GX-06M reserved for me.
...need to find Miracle House Neo Getter One (Trainer Version), and my Getter Army will be complete!

Good for you! I'm waiting for my gx-06 (regular color) to complete my getter army too (along with a gx-02r), which I won from ebay but I just found out that customs returned it to Hongkong where it came from. I am sooooo pissed! The guy who sold it too me didnt mention it was coming from Hongkong, i've been waiting for a week! I really want to get it soon, I already have the gx-18-20 soc's, aoshima shin getter and the aoshima neo getter. The gx-06 would complete my army once or if I get it.

I looked at the site again and now I see which getter robo everyone was talking about. It doesnt look like the gx-06m at all it looks like a precursor to it though. They need to do a write up on that piece to clear things up for us confused collectors.
