Hi everyone, I am having trouble deciding whether to get Combattler or Zambot 3. I have read lots of reviews about the Zambot but I haven't seen anything for Combattler. Please help. Thanks. Anyway, check this out guys.  Price: 59,850 Yen |

Hmm, that's a tough one, it's like choosing between brothers. Well Com-battler was the first Gattai SOC so it does have that honour, while Zambot is the latest and benefits from being newer. Me personally I would pick Com-battler just because I like him better and he's better known. But I have a feeling everyone here will tell you to get Zambot, which is also a good choice. Both have their positives and negatives, but you can't loose with either.

I would go with Comb-attler V . I also am biased towards him.

zambot3 is actually better with its cheap price(17800yen VS 12800yen) nowadays, better design, and more accesorries, bulky looks... ... ;D

i'd go with zambot mainly because i just saw last samurai and now i'm into samurai looking robots its too bad the musha gundams are so damn expensive.  if you want simplicity of chogokin design and elegance go for combattler; buy it for the nostalgia and engineering if you want something more complex by design and looks but nonetheless still elegant as well, a state of the art modern rendention of an obscure robot you probably never knew then zambot 3 is for you.; buy it for the engineering anyway that getter set is the renewed version of SHE resin kits prebuilt perfect transformation for the price its simply not worth it i was soured by the Shin getter i purchased  |

Buy both, if you can't at the same time but Combattler first. Honor the one that came before and help set the path..................

Hey Guys,
Thanks for the input. I personally like both robots. I kinda hesitate on the Zambot because I heard issues about the brittle inferior yellow plastics on the chest and on the head. What do u guys think?

Combattler first, then Zambot. I personally think that because of the issues with Zambot prices will drop after a while. This is why I haven't bought him.......yet.

What do u guys think? The plastic isn't that brittle were it will break if you touch it, it just means that you have to be careful when handling it. Besides no SOC made is meant to be taken out to your backyard and played with in your sand box. SOC's are more display items than toy's and should be treated that way. |

Those are the two SoCs I'd buy last. But of the two, I think I prefer Combattler. I'd much rather have Big Dan, but thats been covered a zillion times by me already.  Bill |

If you have the budget, I'd recommend getting the GX-03 Combattler V first. The GX-23 Zambot 3 is fairly new, so it isn't going anywhere fast, compared to the Combattler.
If you still can't choose, let fate decide.

My vote goes for Combattler V also. Getting rarer and I don't think he sold well enough in the recent reissue to warrant for another reissue, which is why I jumped when I recently saw him selling for $60 from a collector at TBDX. Black CV kicks ass too.
