I have a quick question for all The Chogokin owners out there. What is the die-cast content for Getter Two? Legs? Body? Just want to make an informed decision before I get him. I have bought some of the others and it seems that the earlier ones are almost all die-cast and have a good weight to them. I bought Combatler and was not as impressed with it as the other ones I own. Aside from that, I love this series. Very affordable and doesn't take up alot of room on the shelf. Thanks for any input.

the whole getter 2 body/legs/shoulders are diecast, the hands/ head are plastic.
Over all, this is a fairly ok piece, among the whole series, imo robocon, red baron and mazinger z are the best.

Yeah, the Getter Two is a mini brick. You can even pose it a little. Good luck finding one. JWM

Thank you both for your replies . All doubts are now gone. Just need to put it on order now ( with a few others ;D) I would have to agree that Mach Baron is my favorite. That one is quite solid.

Voltes really do sux as combattler V IMO. Even though they have the best engine design of that size, lacking of "Zinc" is their weakest point.

The only ones I don't have are the Voltes and Combattler. The way things are going I might have to settle for finding those two and calling it my Christmas present. I've seen a small Gaiking pop up here and there on e-Bay. It's not a "The Chogokin" issue; it's a GD or something like that. Does anyone have one? A mini Gaiking chogo would be cool. JWM

those mini gaikings are REALLY mini. I was definitely NOT impressed with that line at all. Way, way way too small.

A mini Gaiking chogo would be cool. JWM jwm, get yourself a vintage 3" Shogun Warrior Gaiking. These little ba$t*rds are in scale with The Chogokin and have a decent amount of diecast.

those mini gaikings are REALLY mini. I was definitely NOT impressed with that line at all. Way, way way too small. Agree. I have them all. They are called "CGA (chogokin gashapon series) chogokins). Each of them is around 1~1.5 inch tall, 1/2 with legs diecast, 1/2 simple NO diecase AT ALL. However i like them though, there are very cheap, like 4$ each shipped. The time i bought it, 100$ 25 pieces, shipped.
