If you want to see some awsome bases, look under the Fan art section for two threads posted by MisterIcs. There called "Mazinger Z Base" and "Grendizer's Home", these things are awsome and if I had the money I would get MisterIcs to make me copies.

I'll go ape sh*t!!! hahaha Chen, I don't mind Getter robo, as long as its good... too bad the first Shin Getter, didn't have a good story line, and neo was ok... but thankfully 2004 is awesome so far. |

Oh don't get me wrong, I love Getter Robo, infact Getter Robo G is one of my favorite robots and animes. But we've had Shin Getter Robo: Armageddon, Shin Getter vs Neo Getter, and now Shin Getter: 2004 and the last new animation of Grendizer was the short three part series that you made my GIF from. Hopefully 2005 is the year of Grendizer with a new OVA, or at least a re-make of Great Mazinger, Getter Robo G, and Grendizer vs The Sea Monster with the updated versions of Mazinkaiser and Shin Getter. |

I think they have alot to do before releasing any OVA for Grandy, If koji is included then mazinkaiser will be part of the new OVA wich means mazinkaiser will be assistance to the new grandy(i dont think GO NAGAI want this) as the mazinkaiser is the powerful super robot in today's anime, may be if the story start in planet freed then it comes to earth.
or mazinkaiser face a powerfull aleins which may destroy him then GRANDY come to the risk and then the sereis start.
Anyway, i will like anything for GRANDY, just bring it out.

I don't understand why Grendizer get's no respect, he is still super popular and Go Nagai has stated that Grendizer is one of his favorite creations. I have a feeling that it's probably due to ownership of the characture, Nagai actualy re-designed a pre-existing characture to make Grendizer.

Notice that in Super robot games, there is mazinger, great mazinger and either grendizer or mazinkaiser as the third, the two did not come together in one game which means they consider both robot the same. In GO NAGAI Movie which include most of his super robots , the only three survivors are grendizer,mazinkaiser and shin getta. In a preview with a french channel, GO NAGAI said that Grendaizer is the powerful robot from his collection (i think this preview is before the year 2000) They still respect him but ,i think GO NAGAI want to leave grendizer as a legend from the past But.....as you said lancerx ....there is always hope |

Actually its a short clip 3-4 minutes created by DYNAMICS.
i thought that all of you guys already watch it.
Part1:
First mazinger is fighting a big number of robots from all the enemies of (mazinger,grendizer,getta robo..etc).
they destroy him
Part2:
Then other super robots come to the help (great mazinger and his assistance robot girl,getta robo G, god mazinger and 2 other(dont know the names) , they destroy the robots and help mazinger.
Part3:
The Dark General(from great mazinger) appear -very huge- and destroy all the super robots then Grendizer and Shin getta robo come to the rescue and destroy him, after that there is a big monster (Face with red Flare covering him ) appear (i think from Great Mazinger)
the screen then goes to mazinger base where Koji is launching Mazinkaiser and come to help the other.
The clip end with the three robots ready to fight the red monster.
Ithink the movie is an advertisment to Mazinkaiser
and it was released before Mazinkaiser.
If i find a link i will post it here.
Ps: the Grendizer picture of our freind chen is from this movie ;D

yeah those clips are killer... the site that used to host it.. has taken off files from his site...
But its pretty cool!!! I've never seen anything like it.. now if only they just redid or retell all those old anime in that fashion! or make some new ones... with the old designs (and not change a thing to the characters)
