here is my translation
About a 100 km from Barcelona, on the A-2 highway on the way to Lleida. Taking exit 10 you will find a little urbanization called Mas de Plata, wich on the town square has a lifelike representation of “a boys dream come true”. An enormous Mazinger- Z. about 12 meters (12 Meters equals 39.3701 Feet), towering over the ton square, built to perfection with attention to detail, and without mistakes. The materials used in its construction are metal plate, fibre-glass and concrete, resulting in a stunningly solid and real piece. Regrettably because of the hard to find location, very few people from barcelona and adjecent cities know of this curious monument, the location being spread arund from mouth to mouth. We interviewed the people of this little urbanization (wich doesn’t have more than 2000 citizens), to find out more about the origin of the piece. However we didn’t get much information. The one who ordered it being build was aparenly the person who appointed the urbanization project, and gave it a kick start. It was some real estate impressario living 200 km further in Girona. The question that keeps us busy is that maybe this real estate guy started other towns, and maybe, why not, there are some Aflodai’s and BossBorots out there…….

That Mazinger would be awesome to see in person!! To everone here who grew up in Manila, during the '70's-I am wondering how many remember seeing Voltes V (made of wood??) looks real though...standing beside "MAKATI Supermarket". At that time, maybe I was 8-9 yrs old..I was just amazed and wowed everytime I see him every Sunday. I had photos of him but it was lost in a house fire with my "original" collections. The height of that Voltes V would most likely be between 15-20 ft.
