Have there been any mentions of a "Devil Winged Version" being released? Considering how popular the previous version was, it would seem a new one would be obligatory.

That would be something to look forward to. The Devil Wing Shin Getter is one of my favorite redesigns/variant. I hope they release an original color and Black Devil Wing version of the Shin Getter 2004.

Yeah, zetaking, I'm in Taipei.
You probably saw the Aoshima Shin Getter in the toy and model kit shop on the 4th floor of Wannian. Which version do you have? I usually go for the Japan Limited Color Version. Wannian Building isn't really the best place to buy SOC. I usually go there to see the displays and then buy what I want at other smaller toy shops. I bought a Combattler V (GX-03) at Wannian and I've had problems with it. I recommend Datoumu ¤jÀY¥Ø(Big Head Eye), which is walking distance from the Xinpu MRT Station in Banqiao. These days I buy SOC online from Yahoo Taiwan. I can meet the seller directly to pick up my SOC (in mint boxes) at one of the MRT stations. Sometimes, the stores at Wannian stack up the boxes for everyone to handle and thus scratch up. By the way, there's also an excellent shop on the 2nd floor called "Hotdog Toyz". Their main shop is near the intersection of Dunhua South Road and Zhongxiao East Road.

I go to hot dog toyz everytime I head back to Taiwan. They have one in east side of taipei as well. They have two stores. But, the big head eye I have never heard of before. I got the limited version getter. I just went into Hot dog and he lets me pick out the best box out of the lot. I have not purchased alot from them lately because I have not gone back as often. Any other shops in Taipei city? Because panchiao might be a little far for me with my schedule in Taiwan. I know that there are stores around the taipei yuan huan where the old taiwanese food used to be in the center circle. But, being my schedule, wan nien is the fastest way for me to get the toys and fast.

Awsome pics, I'm pretty unsure which version to get too. The Normal version has the classics Getter 1 colours while the Limited has Getter Dragons. Unleashed, do you think you could post pics of the new Getter with either the SOC Getter Dragon or Getter 1 just so we could get a better sence of size and scale ;D(if you have them of course .

Maybe they'll get the idea? ;D Nice pic Rex, A black version would be great, this also got me thinking about some re-colours for the SOC Getter G team. Do you think you could Photoshop Getter Dragon in his "Shine Spark" colours, white and chrome. I've always thought that a white "Shine Spark" version of the Getter G team would make a cool contrast to all the black versions out there.

That is sweet Rex!!! I always thought a white/chrome version of the Getter G team or atleast Getter Dragon would be a perfect compliment to all the "Gucci" SOC's out there, picture a black Grendizer next to a white Getter Dragon.......drool.

Thanks! It's definitely a cool color scheme and it would also look great next to the original Getter Trio's metal training versions.

Zetaking:
Hotdogz is all right, but some of their prices are expensive.
Forget Yuanhuan. There's "101 Toys" on Chang-An East Road, but stuff there is even more expensive. The Taipei Underground Mall under Civil Boulevard has several toy and figure shops. They sell SOC at average prices.
BTW, I think Aoshima's Shin Getter Limited Edition looks the best. The cheapest price for the Shin Getter in Taipei is around NT$2,400. It's even less expensive than most US prices.
