YAY! There is no way to accurately explain my joy...I am so happy. Word on the street, it'll be five inches tall, packed with accesories, and full of eighties goodness. Kudos to Ataru and Zincpanic! I'm now going to try and host the images.... Oh hey, that worked! Sweet! ;D here's the mech: Sorry for the big images...look at them in detail, they rock! I love the engineering that they've worked into them, I knew banDie could do it! Ha ha, eat that blaze! Oh, and here's Zincpanics great little article, looks like they're also making something called Broccoli, anybody know what that's about? Here ya go: www.zincpanic.com/view_article.phtml?id=22764

Holy Cripes!
It looks great!
Can anyone confirm what's the 100mm it's referring to?

Booya! Looks great and very complex. At 1/144 scale that would make it how big? Anyway another addition to my SOC shelf looks good.

Anyway, from what this sex chick on the radio said, you only need 2 inches to reach IT. Anyway, for something that costs <$100 (shipped) five inches would not be that bad, with the detail and sofistication Xabungle seems to have.

Hmmm-- Gaiking is going to be a tough act to follow unless they have something really special up their sleeves. Five inches, or 1/44 scale for an SOC.... That would be like the Hyakushiki, or Kahen Senshei (sp?) figures. I'll have to wait and see. For a hundred bucks it will have to have a really good transform (which it seems to) and lots of metal. Oh, and pose-ability too, can't forget that. JWM

I have mixed feelings about this news... Firstly, I haven't a clue what Xabungle is (well, actually, I do with the little Googling I just did plus a clip I managed to download a few months ago). But mostly, while certainly happy to hear that this is good news for Xabungle fans, personally I want to see Xabungle Irongear!
See - when I was little, I had this plastic red bot (clearly a bootleg now that I think back - there was no indication that this was even related to Xabungle). All I knew at the time was that this was a bizarre bot who only half-transformed (those who know, know what I mean). Strangely enough, I absolutely loved the design as it sparked my imagination - that I had absolutely no idea what this half bot half ship was didn't bother me in the least. If there was justice in this world, I'd see a SoC Xabungle Irongear!

5" inches really sucks, if this is true then its the smallest SOC by far. except for gx-05 but then again gx-05 centered on the dragon not gaiking so that's taller/longer than 5 inches.
i wasn't too crazy about this to begin with the though of it being 5" further discourage this.

You have to remember though, Lurker, that this guy is a) a "real" mech, with a "real" sense of scale, and b) would be smaller then mazinger z in any case. Also, from the drawings it looks like it'll be more poseable then Mazinger Z as well, with a bucketload of accesories. And finally, c) it comes with the Brocallay, whatever that is....
Why do people think it's gonna be 100 smackers? Seems a bit high, dontcha think?

Yeah, the "Brokori" thing, or whatever- I wonder if there will be an Aspa Ragus module. Maybe a Ru Dab Aga weapon? and what about pilot Ra Dish? JWM

Fugly, Xabungle's 17.8 meters, so that would actually be almost the same as mazinger z (18m).
That said, if the smaller size means they'll be able to release more walker machines, (perhaps another 2-pack?) I'm all for it. Also, this turning out to actually be Xabungle and being small lends some credence to those preorder rumors from Diamond, and it was only around $55 or so IIRC. Throw in a 15-30% discount like some stores have for the diamond imports, and it would be very affordable.

I'm sorry but I think I will sit this one out. It just doesn't move plus I have never seen it in any anime.
