Where is this full line of toys described? And where can one purchase or pre-order the kits?
In this case I am not referring to the Hobby Japan Magazine Exclusive, but to another almost completely black Getter, and maybe a set of three others also.
I have seen these somewhere but I guess I forgot the links or to save pictures and information locally on my computer because I can be an idiot that way sometimes...
I'd be much obliged if someone could help me out.

If your talking about the new Getter designs by Fewture there's a thread ("Anybody see this Getter" ect) in the General section describing the line and where you can get the figures.

Thanks, Chen.
As best as I can figure out, those Getter kits are made by Studio Half Eye and are generally in the 10 cm height range. So that makes those kits both rather small and hugely expensive if the $500+ price is to be believed.
In general, I think more than $100 USD is an outrageous price to pay for practically any toy no matter how cool it is. I make exceptions for my own toy collection as an adult, but $500 USD is really pushing all possible limits.
And so small.
Ouch.

Junkyard, The Getters in the thread Chen is talking about are the Fewture Getters. They are not the Studio Half-Eye figures, which are way too small and way over priced. The Fewture Getters are not model kits, but action-figures. And I think they will be around 10" tall, not 10cm. The Black Getter magazine exclusive is going for around $250.00- $350.00 as far as I know, and you have to have the coupon to get it. Also, it's going to be partially diecast. Just how much no one really knows. I'm really hoping Fewture decides to release the normal Getter team figures mass market and at a much cheaper price per figure. Diecast would be nice, but if it would lower the price I could settle for plastic. For $250.00 the figures should be totally diecast and be able to transform into all three versions, and the price would still be totally stupid crazy IMHO. If they could bring the price down to around $80.00 per piece I would bite the bullet and get the whole team. Otherwise, I will just curse Fewture for making such beatiful toys that I can't have. Wow, I'm long-winded today.

Reed:
Thanks for clearing that up for me, I have the Hobby Exclusive on pre-order already and I will most likely obtain the 3 red and white Getter figures when they become available. I guess the ones I don't want are the SHE ones.
How exactly are most SOC kits not action figures though? Metal or not, they are mainly intended as poseable figures representing specific characters - yes? I'm not seeing the point of distinction here...

Junkyard, I guess I really don't think of SOC as kits, but I guess they could be called that. When I think of kits I think of stuff like Gundam models and resin kits you put together and paint. I think of the SOC figures as action-figures not kits. Expensive action-figures at that. They are well worth the price, however. I love the sculpting and look of the Fewture Getters, but the price........yaozza, that's a lot. I guess if you have the extra cash though, it's all good. My wife would kick the livin' snot out of me for paying that much for a piece of plastic.
