I've seen the price on line all over the place... but definitely do not pay more than $200USD for one - that seems to be the average going price.

It's priced at P10500 (or approx US$191.00) from my toy supplier.
Putting a down payment for it tomorrow. Yay!!!

I ordered mine on eBay from Toysonline for $225 after HobbyLink closed preorders. Kinda disappointed I jumped the gun, considering it's available now for $200, but as they say, "Hindsight is 20/20". Murphy's Law was telling me if I didn't pre-order it when I did, all would run out and dealers would be hiking the thing right back to $400 when it's released. Anyway, I can't complain. I'm finally getting Grendizer, and I didn't have to pay $400 to get it like I would have had to several months ago. So all is well.

I agree. good things DO come to those who wait. I recall some fellow collectors here in PI who rushed to complete their SOC's and paid through the @$$ to get a GX-04S. Look at the price now....

Yikes mine just came in yesterday. Haven't picked it up yet but my regular supplier said he'll give me a good price as got a hell lot already this past month. Will be getting mine for around $175. Now problem is where to put it!

Mine's coming from BBTS, so it will be a while, yet. Probably it'll show up at the same time as the chogokin Astro-Boy so it will look like I've just gone and totaly over-spent myself indulging this foolish hobby... Oh wait...

You know, with the GX-04s coming out in September, and the VoltesV coming shortly after, I may be close to hanging it up with the SOC line. I do want a GX-02, but after that I think I can live without more. Xabungle doesn't appeal to me. I don't want Doraemon. That Aquarion set looks kind of lame to me. After VoltesV, the only future SOC's I want to get are ones for which I have the old Popy edition. So of course that means I'm a sucker for: Daimos, Raideen, and Dangard. Oh, wait- there's Daltanias, and No17. And if they ever pick up the old Bullmark line... picture Mechandar, Dai Baron, the Diapolon trio. And the cars and planes by SOP... Oh, wait. I was talking about being done with buying more SOC's. So I'll be done with Buying SOC's as soon as they stop making cool stuff that I want. There.

If anybody getting the re-issue has the original please post if there are any differences. I have seen some nice pics of the re-issue and the chrome job looks so much better than on mine, but that could be due to age.

Chen, regarding to your question about the stickers. I bought the first wave of GX-04S (at $300 -- ouch!!), and my set came with the silver stickers in western alphabet. Do you have a picture of the base with the other stickers? I'm curious. By the way, although I paid such a juicy price for my Grendizer, I would gladly pick up another one right now (If I had the cash!). I strongly sugest that you guys buy one if you don't own him already, for it has so many gimmicks that you won't be disappointed.

I just bought the GX-04B Grendizer Black Version a few days ago. The price of the GX-04B has really skyrocketted because SOC collectors are speculating that Bandai won't be re-issuing the black versions.
BTW, I heard something about the GX-04B doesn't have a "Dynamic" official sticker on it, so it's difficult to tell which is the Hong Kong imported version or the Japan imported version. Can anyone confirm this?
