Me too, although I never saw the show, I think it's a keeper. By the way dme30 is taking pre-orders in case some people don't know yet.

Wow!!!! It even has a rocket punch gimmick! It looks like GX-33 may have a similar die-cast conent to that of GX-30. It looks nice!

Size doesn't matter. Besides the Japanese seem to like their Gokins small-sized.

I agree to an extent, it's just my robot funds aren't unlimited and one of the criteria I look for in a toy is shelf presence. If it does turn out to be Xabungle size I'll still want one, but it may push it down the pecking order a little.

Okay... seriously... Bandai needs to go back to the drawing board and figure out a way to design Daimos. C'mon now... GX-33... What the heck is this?? Spider.. what??? Looks dull and boring... No excitement at all... I don't see why some people just "can't wait" to have this piece of garbage. Maybe they know something I don't.. But either way, I'm not sold on it. Anyway, I'm surpised they didn't introduced Bio Robot from Bio Man... Now he deserves to be the GX-33 if you ask me (well that is if Daimos can't be manufactured by that time)...

I don't like Leopardon either, but I wouldn't go so far calling it a piece of garbage. This icon kind of looks like him.

Yep, it's not garbage bro...just because you dont know something doesn't mean you have to go and make an insulting comment about it.

Just be patient with Daimos... I'm sure Bandai has him in the pipeline... Bandai can't just bring out the heavy guys in a period of time... remember that this is still business for them. They have to keep the line interesting... and remember, Bandai's primary clientele are the japanese... They are the only ones who can say that this bot deserves to be GX-XX... it would be interesting to note that this is the reason why Combattler was made way before Voltes... much as we hate to admit it, Voltes is just a Combattler clone for the japanese... Leopaldon is a big part of Tokusatsu history. Biorobo is one too... but if you know your super sentai history, Battle Fever J was the first sentai show that used a sentai bot... followed by Denziman... Bioman was sixth.... Bandai already released Battle Fever Robo... Daidenjin (of Denziman) is already being planned... who knows Bandai might progress towards Biorobo (or even beyond)... I know it has been posted time and again... but Bandai never made a distinction toku/sentai bot and super robot during the Popy days... i dont think they will make a distinction in the SOC line either... for Toku/Sentai fans like myself, Leopaldon is a very welcome treat... Okay... seriously... Bandai needs to go back to the drawing board and figure out a way to design Daimos. C'mon now... GX-33... What the heck is this?? Spider.. what??? Looks dull and boring... Hey buffy... do you still have your ST leopaldon? I would gladly take it away from you if you decide to sell it I'm pretty sure I'll be picking this guy up. I had the old ST robot for the longest time, so it'll be nice to have this guy back in the house in SOC form! Around how much is he anyway?

I'm not sure if Leopaldon is the first toku robot... ...but from what i know, the Japanese Spiderman tv show (1978) had a huge impact on toku shows. This Japanese Spiderman TV show was the first collaboration between Toei and Marvel Entertainment Group. Spiderman made live action mechs popular in tv shows... It's success led to the revival of Sentai shows... now in the form of Super Sentai (Battle Fever J in 1979)... It is also interesting to note that the concept of BFJ was based on Marvel's Captain America... e.g. Battle Japan, Battle America, Battle Africa, etc... It is also interesting to note that while the japanese spiderman looks like its US counterpart, it is a different character... this spiderman is not Peter Parker... here's a synopsis that i got in japan-hero But i think it is safe to assume that Battle Fever Robo is the first SOC tokusatsu robot... ;D yeah, sentai is a super team. hey is this the first tokusatsu robot?
