i am thinking of buying a 1/60 yamato vf oa or a vf os but do not know which one to buy. i know the vf 0s is the first to come out so theres some QC problems but i really like the look of the vf 0S. the vf oa has fewer qc problem but the paint job is not that attractive. so what do u guys thin? take my chances and get the vfos or be safe and get the vf oa?
thanks.

I've seen both, and like you I haven't had a chance to buy either one yet. Personally, I'd get the VF-0A. No issues like the 0S, and looks a lot better with that real-world paint scheme. The 0S is still the definitive Valk though, since it's Roy's. But from some of the issues I've read on reviews, you're beter off with the 0A for the moment, and just pick up the 0S when you come across a cheap one that's being sold.

I bought a VF-0S, but immediately returned it shortly after taking it out of the box due to a broken "fin" along the underbelly. Got something else with the store credit.
Later, I bought a VF-0A and it is perfect. Totally happy with it.
Between the VF-0S and VF-0A, I'd say the VF-0A wins hands down, pending any reissue of the VF-0S that has addressed all the defects.
You might also want to consider the possibility of Yamato releasing a VF-0A Shin.

I was thinking of getting a VF-0A since I've already got the 0S (mine is fine except the loose arm joints and unable to mount the gunpod on the arm). I like the color scheme of VF-0A, looks nice in fighter mode with the ghost on top. Just don't like the head in Battroid mode. I am deciding between the 0A and the super Stealth. If you guys can only buy either one, which one would you buy, super stealth or VF-0A?

That's a tough one. I got my Super Stealth before a VF-0A was released, so that's no help.
Do note, though, that the Stealth and its Super/Strike parts can now be bought separately, so if cost is a factor, you can stretch out the expense of that one over 2 purchases.

Be warn that both of these most likely have stress marks on the inner shoulder piece, which may or may not crack eventually. Its inside the shoulder cover, so can't really tell until you unscrew the shoulder covers. Both 0S & 0A has this issue, with Yamato over tightening those shoulder screws on the already very fragile shoulder, somewhat similar to the Garland incident. My 0S has it on both shoulders, and I have only transformed it like 5 times. Others claimed they got it right out of the box. Check threads in Macrossworld.com forum for details.
