How are the Masterpiece VFAs? Is the transformation challenging? Articulation? Worth the price?

As a general rule Toynami products have always been hit-and-miss items. There've been folks who said the Alpha Veritech was alright and there were some who complained about the paint-jobs, joints, or that they couldn't get it into a "perfect" fighter mode where all the seams matched up (resulting in a "hunchbacked" fighter). Others point at the landing gear being not large enough (the underbelly has a tendency to "droop" to the ground despite the undercarriage being fully extended). But then you have to stop and put it all in perspective: it is a fully-transformable Alpha Veritech that is NOT going to cost you vintage prices. I mean, nowadays stores are clearing them out at half the original suggested retail price (it was $80USD when it first came out; and now even at www.robotech.com they're letting them go at $40 each). I never got one before but if there ever was a time to grab one, now would be it.

They're OK. I LOVE the amount of zinc in them but not so much the QC.
