Are those Fewture products with Yamato DA? Or is Yamato doing Maz and others too? Mega Ridge International is the Taiwan distributor for Yamato and Fewture. In any case, Mega Ridge had a booth at the 9th Comic Exhibition that displayed these two Japanese toy companies' products.

This kicks Raideens skinny ass SOC or not. Yamato looks to have done a excellent job with Dangard Ace.... One question how do we get our Robot Japan discount from Beta toys?

Yes. Just send Andy an email and ask for it. He'll send you an invoice with the discount already on it.

Andy was giving us Robot-Japan members an 8% discount. You can send him an e-mail for more information on pre-orders VS stock items.

You know...this being a Yamato product I wonder if we'll see any variations, perhaps a black version.

Like the Groizer X I dont know much about him and have never seen any of his shows but I liked the repaint with the green better than the original but I usually do not like repaints maybe its just the way I remember them ...

I know how you feel, the price is incredibly high and IF Bandai comes out with a superior SOC version I will have to kick my own ass lol. I don't really think you need to worry too much about that. Even if ther is a SOC Danguard it will probably be different enough that you won't be able to say one is superior to the other. The style of Yamato's chogokins is very different compared to Bandai's. Just from the pictures in this thread it's easy to see the Yamato Danguard is very large with bright, flat colors. It looks quite like the cartoon, in a sense. If Bandai made the same character it'd probably be smaller and much more detailed. Bandai tends to make robot toys that look the way the robot would in real life, as opposed to how it would in a cartoon. It isn't easy to compare them.

Oh I know the styles are different I was just saying I would prefer a SOC version and would kick myself for spending $200+ on a figure that I wouldn't want then, oh well there's always Ebay :-)

I would be really surprised to see a Bandai SOC release of DA since another company such as Yamato has taken the project. I would like to have a Groizer X SOC, but it is likely that it won't happen.

No that's the Manga version, limited too 1000 and exclusive to www.hlj.com. Plus I'm just going on the assumption that since Bandai is pretty much re-doing the old Godaikin line they might make a Danguard figure since I doubt Yamato has exclusive rights to the character.

Man, I very much doubt it. However, if it does happen I guess I will have to do something to get one. BTW, WWW.BBTS.COM also sells the Manga Version GROIZER-X: www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/product.aspx?product=YAM10284&mode=retail}D

I noticed BBTS lowered it's pre-order price on Dangard Ace from $209 to $174. I wonder if Betatoys is starting to eat into their business.
