I know of the link but I just had to post the pic here... ![](http://i169.photobucket.com/albums/u202/whatj74/yamato-gd0009L.jpg) Definitely a lot of similarities with Groizer X. If that's the case, expect 20-30% diecast on the aircraft mode and 70-80% diecast on the robot mode. Sign me up for one please ;D

With how clever Yamato has been with their valks (SV-51 in particular), you'd think they could have managed a bit more inclusive and a lot less "rip the lower torso off and replace it". It does look a bit like Danguard Ace should at least have the fully transforming legs, since that's not too complicated looking.
Their Groizier looked pretty neat, but when you think that the ONLY part shared between transformed modes is the chest and head, you almost wish they would have skipped the transformation altogether and just given you two robots, since that's ALMOST what they've done anyway.

I couldn't agree with you more. It may sound ridiculous, but if they added another head/chest we could have gotten TWO figures! Hmmmm....maybe they should sell it separately ![::)](http://lemonstre.fr/robot-japan/smileys/rolleye.png) - call it the Groizer X add-on pack ![:D](http://lemonstre.fr/robot-japan/smileys/grin.png)

Maybe if this one sells good Bandai will take note and we will get a SOC Dangard...
Iam not familiar with Yamato products but you never know he could come with lots of extra parts we just have to wait and see..

I really doh't know what they could include accessory-wise. Dangard never really had a lot of weapons. I just hope that he is in fairly decent proportion. I like the fact that he transforms.

Skinny in some areas, but it actually looks nice in both modes. Yamato site says it's got diecasst (probably very minimal), abs, pvc, pom. Paint application looks too flat though, and the forearms could use some beefing up.
As for accessories, Yamato could throw in those clear plastic "laser / beam" thingamabobs for the hands and the chest (if it opens up) like what revoltech did for most of it's figures.

Thanks for the link Chen! The CAD videos were cool. It does say that it will be partially a part swap transformation, but I am ok with that. Maybe they could provide a slightly larger head to swap. ;D I don't like the scale of the closed hands, but the open hands seem fine to me.

The heads still waayyy off, too small and should be a dark silver/grey plus they need to get rid of that painted on five o' clock shadow. Still think Bandai would have done a better job.

Looks OK. Using the zoom on the pictures on Yamatos site though was very unimpressive. Flat orange peel paint and bad application. Even with its issues I still have to buy this. I just still have my fingers crossed that Bandai will give us their rendition on Danguard.

I believe the paint looks so crappy on Yamato's site because that particular model is the painted resin prototype. I'm assuming this guy will look a lot better as the production model. Hurray for cool accessories.
