That Goshogun is made of bountiful luscious heavy metal.

Can anyone explain why there is so little reaction to an update like this? www.robotjapan.com/takatoku_goshogun_robot.htmWould you say that users are "silently enjoying" the write-up or would you say that site visitors just don't care too much about Go Shogun? -Or vintage items?

WOW! That is awesome! I love the article and review, what a great find! Your GoShogun looks off the shelf new and clean (even the box) and looks to be an incredible piece to have added to your collection.
Thank you!

No problem at all. Glad you like it. See I got extremely lucky and found it on yahoojapan under an unlikely search. It was New Old Stock with a buy now price of about $175 US. Please pardon the bragging, but it was a SUPER find and probably my best buy of the year. New Grandizer sets can cost that. Sometimes it amazes me that in Japan they don't appreciate the robot as much as we do. The anime, as I understand it, didn't do well. So the toys floundered. Heck, you probably know that already and are an expert.

Geepers, I am not an expert by any means....just like all of you guys and gals (if there are any Gal collectors on this board)...I read, study, research, and talk to people about this great hobby. I always learn from collectors like you and I'm alweays happy to share what I learn. With regards to GoShogun, I have never actually seen the Anime....but I have always liked the Robo design. He has SO MUCH detail and I can be a sucker for those bulky, squared off robo designs (why I like Diamos SO much!) As for the price.....WOW! That is AWESOME, no need to apologize for bragging...I think I would too! You are one lucky fellow!! Thanks again for sharing the GoShogun info...it makes me want that bad boy even more...drool.

You are right! I had not idea until I did a search on the web. It looks like a Dutch guy will be fleshing out a Macron 1 site in the future at www.goshogun.com . -Ed
