Where are the kids ? Who here is under 22? I constantly wonder how many kinds show up on the BBS??? I have tried to taylor the site to include the up and coming / current toys for youg kids. The Gundam and Power Rangers sections are expanding. The model building suggestions could help the young-ones, but I wonder what our BBS demographic is? Can anyone see the site by using Net Nanny and the like? -Or is it filtered out? -e

In my experience, having been involved in a number of toylines and web communities, the only bots attracting a young but serious following at the moment are Transformers and Zoids. Power Rangers is still on the line, part way between "too young and recent to be taken seriously" and "wow, I remember those from when i was a kid! I'd love to find a discussion board about it". As a part time investor, I know that Power Rangers are a major green light now; still mostly very inexpensive used, but the prices are begining to rise as more folks who grew up with them in '93-'95 are getting real jobs, real money, and a real interest in their past. Give it some time.

That's a really good point Shaxper. I remember when Godaikins were in that "say what?" category. Most vendors complained that at $95 they couldn't move 'em. -sigh- Times change.
You are quite correct that the work on Transformers gathers the most "kid" attention. TF Armada is BIG.
