Let's get a toy database started!

Here's how we get off our butts and get it started.

Everyone take your absolute most prized item in your collection, take 4-6 detailed pics of it, and write up an in-depth review of the item's background and features. Provide measurements and specs. All in all, the whole thing shouldn't take more than an hour or so and should be fun! Once Ed gathers a few of these, we can establish a standardized format for displaying them on this page. Ultimately, if we keep doing these reviews from time to time, we'll build one heck of a unique and diverse database that will be extraordinarily useful to us and will attract new visitors! Who's with me?

I can voluteer to add some bits-n-pieces. But, you may want to decide on a format that this database should follow. What stats do you want? (height, width, weight, Who made it, when was it made, etc...)

I'm still experimenting with my camera...but the problem with my picture hosting is that they do shrink my pictures...and I am surprised at how much detail is lost.
Is there a place where I can foward pics to be hosted so that the best quality of photos can be shared?

I don't mind hosting pictures, just send a few at a time (say less than 1MB at a time) to my address at [e-mail] . I will take your "best guess" on format, work with it a bit, and then set up a standard after we have a few postings.
